Steelhead Porter: This deep brown beer has a big fat head with staying power.  It's got a great grainy, foamy feel in the mouth and is loaded with a creamy, chocolate, roasted and crisp hops notes.  This is a superb beer.  Let it warm to 45 degrees before consuming. Highly Recommended. (Rating ****)
John Barleycorn Barley Wine Style Ale: This goliath weighs in at 9.1% alcohol.  I had one and felt loopy.  This brew is deep red, nearly brown, and has a firm head.  In noses faintly of orange peel and caramel.  Drink it up and you get sweet barley and crisp hops on the close. (Rating ***1/2)
