This Extra Old (XO) cognac comes from the Champagne region of France, and this particular bottle arrived via Munson Shaw Importers of Deerfield, Illinois. These days, though, A de Fussigny cognacs are handled by Jim Beam. On average this XO cognac is aged 25 years.
A. de Fussigny is a fair gold-caramel
color, and smells of cinamon, orange, walnut, and vanilla. It is
remarkably smooth, almost buttery. It is not cheap, but it is an absolute delight.
