Borghetti Caffe Sport
Espresso Liqueur
by F. Sot Fitzgerald A new cocktail craze has struck the
hip, artsy Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York. This concoction was created
by your's truly, F. Sot Fitzgerald. I've named it the AlcoholReviews.com-Borghetti
Shake, which sounds alot like a dance. You pour 2 ounces of ink black
Borghetti Caffe Sport espresso liqueur and four ounces of milk into
a cocktail shaker, plop in one cube of ice, then clam up the shaker and
shake it violently. Pour the resultant frothy white-brown liquid
into a double martini glass and garnish the foam atop with a circle (or
whatever shape you like) of cinnamon. It's creamy, coffee- chocolately,
and tastey.
Borghetti Caffe Sport espresso liqueur,
which is imported from Italy by Branca Products, is 33% alcohol- potent,
but not as strong as your average distilled spirit- thus this cocktail
is great to have after work when you'd like to relax but don't want to
end up staggering about drooling. It's been a huge hit with the ladies
and is almost equally esteemed by gents.

Alternatively, you can plop a shot of Borghetti in your cafe latte or enjoy a shot of this on the rocks. It's rich and very satisfying, with no alcohol stink nor any sign of artificial ingredients. (Rating ****) |
