The menorah was unveiled at the Chabad in London in mid-December. The whisky was sampled by and then drained from the menorah into small bottles and distributed to the attendees

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskies
The New York Times posted a web page on Speyside whiskies back in December 2008.
It includes videos - one provides an overview, and the others focus on The Balvenie, Glen Grant, and Tamdhu.
Eric Asimov is a pretty good booze writer, and the Times' web page includes a couple lovely photographs of the Highlands. Well done, and worth a few minutes of your time.Labels: Scotch
