3/19/2003 GEORGES DUBOEUF POUILLY-FUISSE 2002 AND PRESTIGE CHARDONNAY 2001 It seems that spring is in the air. Not surprisingly, our bellies ache for white wine. We've done red during the cold months and now it's time for something different. Bargain shoppers are advised to try the $10 a bottle Georges Duboeuf Prestige 2001 Chardonnay. It booms with sour apple, oak, and gooey cream. (Rating ***3/4) Those with a little more cash free can move up to Duboeuf's 2002 Puilly-Fuisse ($19). It a lovely white that hard cider lovers will enjoy for its crisp green apple flavor, honeysuckle, and soft oak. (Rating ****)
