I've seen the light!  Oh the error of my stereotyping of Australian wines!  Until I tasted Hope Estate Verdelho, my impression of the Australian wines was that they were bold, deep, and flamboyant wines.  I could have sworn they took on their muscular, often sexy and flavorful notes from the sweat that dripped to the wine's soil from the skin of those Australian rugged men.
