Wyndham Estate Tawny Port
The PR material that came with this port notes that it was "released in honour of George Wyndham, an English nobleman who in 1828 planted vines on the banks of the Hunter River. Blended from premium material, this excellent old tawny port was aged in small oak casks for up to five years. A rich, smooth style with dry wood characters on the finish." The body is a bit lean but the color is real tawny- no sign of rudy or red whatsoever. drink it in and you get plenty of caramel, dried fruit |
