8/2007 ROMANCE RED WINE
We quite enjoyed this bargain of a red wine. It is made from Cabernet Sauvignon (34%), Malbec (33%), and Bonarda (33%). The result is a lean bodied wine that shows blackberry and a touch of chocolate and, perhaps, a wee bit of mint. At less than $10 a bottle, this wine is a steal. Stock up! (Rating ****)
